| In the Spotlight with ASI’s Fabrication Manager Joe Taylor |
While the projects of ASI are often visible on a street corner or newspaper article about a new stadium or airport concourse, they begin in the hands of employees at ASI Limited’s fabrication center. For the past 5-years Joe Taylor has been a leader of that division as ASI’s Fabrication Manager. Taylor brings 24 years of experience in the sheet metal aerospace industry.
“Coming from the aerospace industry I understand the importance of quality and customer satisfaction,” said Taylor. “ASI has the same vision of delivering high standards of quality and service.”
Taylor works closely with Jim Leugers, Manager of Manufacturing Operations, to plan out scheduling, production and equipment needed to do the job with efficiency and accuracy. In addition, Taylor works with floor supervisors to make sure they have the right manpower and are utilizing and training their workforce where they are most needed.
He is charged with supporting both the curtain wall and the Ornamental division.
For Taylor working at ASI and participating in its tremendous growth is exciting and secure, especially in the current state of America’s Economy and Job Outlook.
